Travelling onward, we will arrive at the majestic River Clyde. Known for its deep waters and sheltered docks, the Clyde was the birthplace of some of the most famous ships in history, including the legendary RMS Lusitania and the illustrious Queen Mary.

Wemyss Bay’s station our final destination is celebrating its 160th anniversary this year. Once we arrive, you will have the opportunity to take a picturesque ferry ride to Rothesay, a charming town on the Isle of Bute.

As you depart from Wemyss Bay, enjoy breathtaking views of the Firth of Clyde, with the opportunity to spot local wildlife and marvel at the stunning coastal landscapes. The ferry journey will transport you to the heart of Rothesay, where you can explore its rich history and picturesque surroundings.

In Rothesay, visit attractions such as the stunning Victorian architecture, including the iconic Rothesay Gothic Church, and the beautiful Rothesay Pavilion.
